Who Am I?

Kicked the sun from its horizon crawl to a little higher in the sky.

Gathered the wind and sent it in the right direction

That turned a potential hurricane into a calming breeze.

Calmed the ferocious sea to a caress of lapping waves.

Rejuvenated a tree here,

And nudged a reluctant flower to blossom.

Redirected the breeze to get a wandering bee to the honey of a flower.

Made a poacher step on a thorn and alerted the prey.

A constable got a sudden burst of nostalgia to turn into a lane

And a child was saved from its molester.

The scorching sun inexplicably went behind a cloud.

A child dropped a butter biscuit and the dog aborted its chase;

A car sped by; both the dog and the squirrel were saved.

Seasons changed as they should.

Earth rotated and revolved as it must.

Pushed the adamant sun down on the other end

And lit up the moon for its night vigil.

Some call me fate.

Some destiny.

Some science.

Some God.

But, I just am.
